Monument Valley is quite a majestic place that makes you appreciate nature. Seeing a giant thunderstorm towering above it makes you fully aware just how awe-inspiring nature can truly be. Probably the best place I’ve seen sunset at the Grand Canyon (so far) was from the Desert View Point on the eastern side of the South Rim. There are great views of the Grand Canyon to the west, the North Rim to the north and Marble Canyon and the Painted Desert to the east.… Keep reading...

The best time to visit White Sands National Park, of course, is either during sunrise or sunset so that the plants cast long shadows stretching out over the dunes.
