I’ve spent the last few days here in Moab, Utah, which I like to describe as a Jackson Hole in the desert. It’s a beautiful place with all kinds of outdoor activities, set in dramatically natural, sandstone carvings all over the landscape.

Earlier this week the aurora borealis were out in a pretty major storm covering much of the northern United States. I was up in the northern area of Grand Teton National Park and chose Jackson Lake as my foreground of choice, along with a few other friends.
