Mooney Falls is a 200-foot tall waterfall just one mile downstream from the more popular Havasu Falls. When I was a kid there was a big solar storm and supposedly we could see the Aurora Borealis all the way down in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to getting plenty of new wildlife shots from a simple trip to the post office, I also managed to see some amazing scenery thanks to some low-lying clouds that were apparently frozen with ice crystals.
