After getting life and work caught back up to normal speed after my road trip, I’ve finally been able to get out a bit more and shoot. Yesterday turned out to be a great day for it, as I joined a friend in shooting some otters right here in town. They had all but vanished by the time I had gotten there, but they eventually made their way back into close proximity, and while they were cautious of us here and there, they didn’t seem to be bothered by our presence since we didn’t pose any kind of threat.… Keep reading...
I’ve spent the last few days here in Moab, Utah, which I like to describe as a Jackson Hole in the desert. It’s a beautiful place with all kinds of outdoor activities, set in dramatically natural, sandstone carvings all over the landscape.

I finally put together a new time-lapse video of some footage I had been collecting from earlier this summer and spring. Most of it is taken in and around Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park, with a couple of scenes from Yellowstone National Park mixed in there. The final two scenes were of the Perseid Meteor Shower from this year and the northern lights from August 5th the previous week, respectively.… Keep reading...
