I found myself rather unproductive in early 2011 in terms of stills. With the recent purchase of a 7D and getting it up to working order, as well as discovering time-lapse photography, my still photography became a bit stagnant. I’ll be leaving on a road trip soon and before I left, I wanted to get all my fall video compiled together into one video. While I didn’t get to use all the clips I wanted to, I still thought that it came out nicely.

I finally put together a new time-lapse video of some footage I had been collecting from earlier this summer and spring. Most of it is taken in and around Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park, with a couple of scenes from Yellowstone National Park mixed in there. The final two scenes were of the Perseid Meteor Shower from this year and the northern lights from August 5th the previous week, respectively.… Keep reading...

It’s become an unfortunate habit where I send in a camera or two for repair, and that’s when I go back and compile all my recent videos together. The 7D is officially on its way back to Canon to get exchanged out once and for all.
