Two Bald Eagles in Flight

A mating pair of bald eagles flying through the air above Jackson Hole. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

In making another trip up into the interior of Grand Teton National Park to find the bears, I came up empty yet again. However it was a great day to shoot something I normally don’t get many photos of: birds. The Oxbow Bend was completely awash with all different kinds of birds including these two bald eagles that flew right overhead.

  1. Heck, I’d take this shot over bears meandering in wildflowers. What a treat!

    • Thanks Dawn! But I’m definitely not complaining about what I came away with today. Plus I’ve got all summer to find both grizzly and black bears around here so I’m not too worried.
