The lush and wild Pacific Northwest preserves one of the last great rain forests in North America. This provides stunningly scenic forests found in the Cascade Mountains and the Coast Range. Equally impressive are the deserts also extending eastward beyond the forests. These incredible landscapes include the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument as well as Craters of the Moon National Monument.
