Jedediah Smith State Park Information

Jedediah Smith State Park is a preserve in northern California protecting a large grove of redwood trees. It was designated in 1939 and was named after Jedediah Smith, who traveled through the area in the mid-19th century. The massive redwood tree park includes hiking trails and a scenic drive to experience and discover the wonder and size of the majestic giants.
