Grand Teton National Park Information

My personal favorite national park, and one of the more underrated in the country is Grand Teton National Park. The park itself is home to one of the most picturesque mountain ranges in the world where the Teton Mountains tower above a massive valley used by dozens of species of wildlife for migration. The massive mountains, shooting straight out of the valley floor, offer new views every day both from Jackson Hole below and inside the mountains themselves. Deep in the Tetons are endless hiking trails that feature jaw-dropping scenery around every turn. The ever-popular Teton Crest Trail takes hikers on a 40-mile trek through some of the best scenery the Teton Mountains have to offer. Along the valley floor, many lakes offer casual tourists a glimpse into the natural wonders, such as Jenny Lake and Phelps Lake. Herds of bison are found throughout the valley floor, as are elk, moose, grizzly bears, gray wolves, and nearly any other animal that was native to the area.
