Paintbrush Canyon and String Lake

Paintbrush Canyon rises high above multiple glacial lakes in Grand Teton National Park. Crowning the Teton Crest Trail, Paintbrush Canyon is an easily missed, but stunningly gorgeous mountain canyon. With the Paintbrush Divide high at the top, hikers are overwhelmed by the natural beauty in the canyon, and its glacial jewel, Holly Lake. Far below the canyon, String Lake connects to Leigh Lake, the larger of the two. Farther north above Leigh Lake, hikers find both Bearpaw and Trapper Lakes. With countless incredible features, this area of the park keeps hikers coming back for more.
