Cuyahoga Valley National Park was designated in 2000 and contains some extraordinary natural environments, given its close proximity to urban areas. Combining a mix of historic architecture and quiet natural scenery, it creates a natural oasis in an otherwise crowded region. A popular trail is the Blue Hen Falls Trail, where a 30-foot waterfall pours over a rocky ledge. The trail loosely follows Spring Creek on its way to the falls and allows visitors the option of continuing downstream to find more gems.
