Babbitt Ranch is a privately owned tract of land between the San Francisco Peaks to the south, and the Grand Canyon to the north. It’s considered one of the tougher stretches along the Arizona Trail due to its isolation and long stretches between water supplies. Despite that, the land is a beautiful example of high desert grasslands at its finest. The family has done a remarkable job preserving the land, and their generosity helped complete an important part of the Arizona Trail. Because it is private land, none of the photos are for sale.
